事務所建築のリノベーションです。

古く暗いイメージのあった元ある建物を一新し、限られた予算の中、新たな個性を生み出すことが求められました。

そこで考えたのが2階北面に思い切って大きな開口部をとることです。

This is a renovation of office building.

It was required to renovate the old and dark image of the original building and create a new personality within a limited budget.

So I thought about taking a big opening on the north side of the 2nd floor.

外観です。

北面を開け放すことで執務には充分な優しい明かりを獲得することができますし、その開口部はこの建築の大きな特徴として現れてくると考えました。

The appearance.

I thought that I could get enough gentle light for big office work on the north side, and that the opening would appear as a big feature of this architecture.

吹き抜けを介し、1階には日中を通し穏やかな光が降り注いでいます。

Through the atrium, the ground floor is flooded with gentle light throughout the day.
