小松市にある子供園のサンルーム空間の改修計画です。
既存のサンルームは園庭に面した絶好の位置にあるのに関わらず、溢れる園具を置くためだけの空間として使用されていました。このサンルーム空間を、子供たちが憩う空間としてリニューアルを行いました。
This is a project to renovate the solarium space of the children’s garden in Komatsu City.
The existing solarium was used as a space only for the overflowing garden equipment, even though it was in a great position facing the garden.
This solarium space has been renewed as a space where children can relax.
既存空間は、古めかしいブラインドにより気持ちの良いはずの天井からの光が遮られています。
In the existing space, old-fashioned blinds block the light from the ceiling, which should be comfortable.
そのブラインドを全て取り払い、木のフレームを連続させ、天井は木ルーバーを設置する事で明るく、快適な木漏れ日広場として活用されることを考えました。
I thought that by removing all the blinds, making the wooden frame continuous, and installing a wooden louver on the ceiling, it would be bright and could be used as a comfortable sunbeams plaza.
これだけの単純な操作を行うことだけで、子供たちはこの空間を積極的に活用するようにたり、サンルーム空間は新たな園の顔として蘇ることができました。
With such a simple operation, children were able to actively utilize this space, and the solarium space could be revived as the face of a new garden.
サッシを開け放つことでとても気持ちの良い風が、光とともに吹き抜けていきます。
By opening the sash, a very pleasant wind blows through with the light.
