栃木県那須塩原市黒磯市に計画した市営図書館の計画です。
各階に明快に機能を分け、複雑な導線を整理し、一つの建物へとまとめています。
地域資源である大谷石を使った４つのヴォリュームを拠り所にゾーニングを行い、人々の流れをコントロールしていると同時にファサードにもその構成が素直に現れてくるような建物のあり方を検討していきました。
This project is a a municipal library planned in Kuroiso City, Nasushiobara City, Tochigi Prefecture.
The functions are clearly divided on each floor, and complicated wires are organized into one building.
Zoning is performed based on four volumes using Oya stone, which is a local resource, and we will consider how the building should be so that the composition appears obediently on the façade while controlling the flow of people. did.

二階は書庫閲覧スペース。書籍を外部環境から守るためにダブルスキンの空間を考えています。
The second floor is a library reading space. I am thinking of a double-skin space to protect books from the external environment.
三階はワークショップスペースと街並みを一望できる屋上広場として活用しています。
The third floor is used as a rooftop plaza with a panoramic view of the workshop space and the cityscape.
開放性の高い外観からは4本の大谷石の塔がシンボリックに浮かび上がって見えます。
